About the role : With a population of over 37,000 living in over 20 community regions, the residents of Nunavut receive their healthcare through regional health centres and homecare visits. Calian's partnership with the Government of Nunavut allows us to offer short- and long-term roles to qualified Registered Nurses who are interested in traveling to the region for employment. Community Health Nurses (RNs) provide wide ranging nursing services within outpost nursing stations, often without a Physician on site. The role involves supporting well clinics, running chronic health programs, responding to urgent care concerns, and providing health education and promotion within the communities.
