The Nurse Practitioner should be comfortable to liaise and consult with physicians as part of the care team, and to perform comprehensive assessment, diagnosis, intervention, management, referral, and evaluation of patient care across the continuum of health care services.

About the Role

Satori Health is seeking full-time and part-time Nurse Practitioners (NP) to join our large and growing NP team.

We provide our NP team the opportunity to practice autonomously. We have developed strong support pillars for our healthcare team, including centralized billing and referral teams, as well as HR, IT, and legal support. WE are committed to providing you the time and attention required to provide exceptional patient care.

Satori Health works with each NP to align them to our unique program standards. Ideally, we are in seek of NPs who have a passion within specific areas of healthcare and want to pave the pathway from onboarding to autonomously practicing within your area of speciality.

The Details:

NOTE: This is not a remote Nurse Practitioner role. The NP must live in Calgary or can easily commute to one of our many clinics in the city. Patients will be seen both virtually and in person.

• Be part of a multidisciplinary team which allows us to go above and beyond for our patients;
• Collaborating on case consults and panel reviews with attached care team members;
• The opportunity to work autonomously and to full-scope of practice;
• Order and interpret laboratory and diagnostics tests
• Provide pharmacological and non-pharmacological therapies
• Provide education, advice, coaching and counselling related to both acute and chronic conditions;
• Assist patient with obtaining and accessing resources

You bring:

• Valid Nurse Practitioner license in Alberta with a minimum of 2 years of experience
• Current experience in chronic disease management
• Knowledge and experience in primary care is considered an asset
• Experience in a wide range of assessment, treatment and therapeutic interventions
• Encompass strong communications skills with experience in motivational interviewing
• Interest in working collaboratively with other healthcare professionals
• Ability to use evidence-based practice to formulate diagnoses and establish comprehensive, holistic, therapeutic care plans;
• A strong ability to navigate the health care system in order to assist patients in finding solutions to reach their health goals
• Access to home office
• Willingness to complete additional education and/or certifications specific to area of practice.
• Computer literacy skills mandatory (Electronic Medical Record: Accuro, NetCare, etc).
• Must be able to support a flexible work schedule.
• Autonomous Advanced Practice Nursing experience considered an asset
• Experience working across the life span and in a primary care setting such as Family Medicine, Addiction and Mental Health considered an asset
• Opioid Agonist Maintenance Treatment Experience considered an asset
